The Good News Monthly addresses the issues, concerns, and problems that all men face, and then provides the answers expressed through the "good news" as given in the WORD OF GOD! The Good News Monthly highlights "good news" (happening, events, celebrations), which occur within the communities of diverse cultures found in the greater Fort Bend County area — especially in the African-American and Hispanic cultures.
Articles concerning special church events/programs, community gatherings, special holidays, positive community role models, the memory of local community people and leaders, and unique recipes of cultural food and literature are frequently found on the pages of the Good News. Most importantly, The Good News Monthly proclaims the "gospel of Jesus Christ" via articles, Christian testimonies, sermons, Sunday School lessons, bible study lessons, short poems and Up Close and Personal interviews of lives that have been changed through His mercy and saving grace! We invite you to consider advertising your business in The Good News Monthly. We believe that advertising your business in the Good News will provide you another avenue for exposure in the Christian and diverse communities which are ever looking for "good, quality, products and services at reasonable prices."
OUR HISTORY
The Good News Monthly was founded in September, 1992 by my wife and I. We are both graduates of Texas A&M University, Class of '74 and '78 respectively. We started the publication in Rosenberg, TX as part of Rev. Michael D. Buford Ministries. At that time, the paper began its distribution via local churches, grocery stores, restaurants, barber shops, beauty salons, gas stations, small and local businesses, and convenient stores. The tradition has continued with the Good News currently being circulated in Richmond-Rosenberg, Grabb, Thompson, Booth, Eagle Lake, Garwood, Alleyton, Weimar, Shepherd, Bay City, Lake Station, West Columbia, Angleton, Kendleton, Hungerford, Fulshear, Simonton, Brookshire, Wallis, Katy, Bellville, East Bernard, Orchard, El Campo, Louise, Wharton, Spanish Camp, Missouri City, Southwest Houston, Sealy, San Felipe, Sugar Land, Alvin, Rosharon, Stafford, Alief-Clodine, Tomball, Lake Livingston, and Corpus Christi.
Sincerely,
Rev. Michael D. &
